One of our designs optimizing Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) technology as opposed to 'traditional brick-and-mortar, which was only used for the foundations. (The builders shade net fence was just removed, revealing the house as it sits in the landscape for the first time! Mild steel was used to span the double volume over the dining area and the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms/apartment.

We had to adapt the preferred non-symmetrical design of the roof slightly, as requested by the estate, and omit the garden pavilion, (we replaced it with a tranquility pit at the request of the neighbor), but apart from that the design is mostly in tact.
